About this role
Grant Thornton is looking for an autonomous, highly organised and conscientious Insolvency and Restructuring Administrator to join our national Restructuring Advisory team.
This full-time, permanent role can be based out of any of our offices across Australia (Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney) with hybrid working options available.
You will support our collaborative, supportive team with everyday administrative tasks such as document preparation relating to formal insolvency appointments. You will also provide support with system administration, including the day-to-day management of the Financial Advisory / Restructuring Advisory Helpdesk.
Key responsibilities
Provide clerical support on formal insolvency appointments and day-to-day management of Financial Advisory / Restructuring Advisory Helpdesk
Prepare initial communications with stakeholders using practice management system (Insol6)
Assist with drafting and preparation of communications, including statutory reports
Assist with updating and maintaining system templates and electronic checklists
Manage outbound correspondence via external mailing service provider
Update the Grant Thornton website for creditor information on new engagements
Skills and experience
Required
Previous administration experience within a corporate setting
Excellent organisation, timekeeping and prioritisation skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills gained within an internal client-facing environment, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated high level of discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters
Easily adapts to new systems and technologies
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel and Word), including the ability to merge documents in Word
Desirable
Exposure to accounting concepts (especially insolvency matters) would be advantageous
Working knowledge of Insol6 or a similar practice management system
