We are seeking motivated, positive, and flexible Registered Nurses with day surgery/short stay surgical/ recovery experience to deliver outstanding patient care in a dynamic, fast paced and supportive environment.
About the Role
The Day Surgery Admissions Unit is a 36-bed open plan environment with a 6 bed postanaesthetic endoscopy recovery, paediatric/special needs dental care and separate 3rd stage discharge lounge. The Unit caters for 16 Operating Theatres, 3 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms, and an Angiography Unit.
Our mission is to provide safe, high quality, courteous, compassionate, competent, individualised and professional nursing care to patients, young and old within a short period of time.
About You
You must have:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years of experience in day surgery, endoscopy, general surgical or recovery specialties
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide high standards of customer service and quality clinical outcomes
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to work flexible shifts and hours (am/pm only. No nights or weekends)
Desirable:
- Paediatric, special needs and/or recovery experience
Remuneration
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]

Requirements
