This role is an initial 6-month contract with the view to extend. There are hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in office with Tuesdays being the anchor day for the whole team. You will be paid $950 including Super daily.

Your new role
The instructional writer will join the team to create, uplift and/or maintain critical work instructions that support the processes undertaken by analysts in their remediation of customer profiles against aggressive regulatory commitments.
Pivotal to team’s success is an operational workforce that has complete clarity of purpose and task, supported by instructional content that has distilled complex information and processes into simple and easy to follow steps that enable consistently high-quality outputs, and predictable customer experiences.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain work instructions (WIs) for onshore and offshore audiences
- Work alongside Operational SMEs to collect, analyse and distil information into simple and easy to follow content, including structuring/classifying content into sub-processes that align to documented processes and simplify analyst consumption
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural WIs for analysts and trainers to agreed standard, including uplifting existing content to ensure consistency of style and format
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking all instructional documentation work to meet key dates and deliverables
- Work with Human Centred Design (HCD) Consultants to undertake usability and correctness testing for content produced, and incorporate HCD insights into the content generated
- Partner with the SME’s & analysts to establish and work within the appropriate governance and change management frameworks for content creation and maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matters
- Collaborative and engaging along with the ability to extract information from SMEs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools
- Desirable - Experience in HCD principles and their application to technical content
