The Role
ALS Springvale Inorganics Team is seeking expressions of interest for 2x full time day shift instrument technicians to join our technical team.

The Day to Day
Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the Quality Procedures Manual as follows -
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the Quality Procedures Manual
- Prioritising daily workloads to report results in a timely manner.
- Operation and maintenance of instrumentation used in the inorganics section.
- Reporting of results in accordance with Quality Work Instructions
- Ensuring compliance with the laboratory’s QC and HSE requirements
- Preparing standards for sample analysis
- Maintaining relevant documentation
- Strong proven background of GLP compliance and high laboratory performance
- Successfully completed a Bachelor or Honours degree (Chemistry major preferred) - preferred but essential
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- High level attention to detail
- Good chemical knowledge
- Demonstrated proficiency and technical understanding of ALS analytical procedures
- Proven ability to plan and organise work and demanding workloads
- Judgement and problem solving skills
- Client service focus
- Positive attitude to safety requirements
- Appropriate level of aptitude on the tests allocated
