As our fund continues to go from strength to strength, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Insurance Representative to join our team. You will be is responsible for administering insurance benefits and services to deliver optimal superannuation outcomes. As we transition to our new administrator, there will be the opportunity to be integral in designing processes aimed at ensuring our members and their beneficiaries receive high quality services.
Your day will see you:
Analyse, assess and sign off on death, terminal illness and permanent incapacity benefits.
Review declined claims and advocate for our members.
Engage with our partners (insurers and administrators) and internal stakeholders to ensure member and beneficiary insurance and claims administration is accurate, timely, fair and reasonable and meets regulatory obligations.
About you
You will have:
Ideally worked within a similar role within the superannuation sector.
Strong knowledge of insurance products and administration
Demonstrated experience with insurance claims settlement techniques
Understanding of superannuation legislation
Experience with MicroSoft Office suite of products, especially Excel
