Insurance Specialist (Underwriting)

This is the opportunity to be part of an award-winning organisation that is committed to delivering workplace diversity, inclusion, and flexible working arrangements.About the role:This 6 Month fixed term position (possibility of extension) would be within the Insurance Operations Team and your role would involve managing complex underwriting enquiries and assisting in insurance data reviews. Other Responsibilities would include:

• Management of the underwriting mailbox
• Providing assistance to the customer service teams for underwriting queries and reviews.
• You will review and respond to complex matters relevant to underwriting.
• Conducting insurance data reviews and audits

About you:

• Previous insurance product related experience with a superannuation fund
• Great understanding of underwriting processes and procedures.
• Experience and knowledge of working with insurance policies.
• Experience and knowledge with the commercial and reporting aspects of insurance requirements.
• High level of communicationskills both written and verbal.
• The ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and customers.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve.

• Salary of $100k inclusive of super (based on annual full time equivalent)

• Hybridworking environment, 3 days from home, 2 days from office.
