About Us
Quantum-Systems is at the forefront of autonomous, AI-powered aerial robotics globally. Our Australian subsidiary, Quantum-Systems Australia, operates in the Defence, Security, and Commercial markets, specialising in Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAS) in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Position
This position will provide pivotal supply chain management services, including defining, reviewing and analysing system requirements for enhancements/ modifications for supportability by providing input to project/program plans and deliverables.
Additionally, the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist will assist in the development, review and modification of procedures for the ILS function, and undertake inherent daily supply tasks.
Reporting to the Maintenance & Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Manage assigned supply items, including spares and repairable items, and conduct inventory assessments.
- Coordinate customer material and delivery requirements, tracking and processing orders, and handling material returns.
- Identify supply chain alternatives to address issues and discrepancies, engaging in supply management planning and support performance reviews.
- Maintain relationships with key supply chain stakeholders in the global Quantum-Systems business, particularly focusing on customers in NZ and Australia.
- Conduct in-process quality checks, ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
- Provides ILS input to project/program plans and deliverables.
- Codification and cataloguing
- Delivering logistics functions in line with ESCM and other defence policy
About you
You are a highly motivated ILS professional with strong organisation skills and initiative to deliver results. You provide solutions through logical, creative and innovative thinking and timely, transparent and consultative decision making. You communicate with impact and display resilience in working collaboratively.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in integrated logistics, stock analysis and forecasting within Defence environments for repairable and non-repairable items
- Experience with Military Integrated Logistics Information Systems (MILIS)
- Advanced Inventory Management Systems (AIMS)
- Demonstrated experience in supply process improvements.
- Experience in codification and cataloguing.
- Australian Citizens and be able to hold a Security Clearance
- Understanding Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual
- Inventory Management experience at a Defence District or Global Level
