Your role:
The Integrated Practice Leader will work in collaboration with the Hub Manager, other Practice Leaders (Senior Child Protection Practitioner/s, the Advanced Family Violence Practice Leader and the Aboriginal Practice Leader), and team leaders to lead the delivery of high quality, safe and effective service responses to Victorians seeking support and services through The Orange Door.
The Integrated Practice Leader will be responsible for driving Integrated Practice across The Orange Door and providing Practice Leadership and expert advice to The Orange Door workforce on complex cases requiring an integrated or multi-disciplinary approach.
The role will build the capability of The Orange Door workforce to deliver integrated functions and services responding to family violence, child and family vulnerability and functioning, and perpetrator interventions, in line with The Orange Door Service Model and Integrated Practice Framework.

What we are looking for:
Expertise and knowledge required include:
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the drivers/causes of family violence and child and family vulnerability, as well as the child and family services and/or broader social services sector and their fundamental practices and theories is required.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the perpetrator in relation family violence is essential for this role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading practice within complex service delivery contexts, particularly multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approaches to the provision of services to vulnerable children, families and diverse communities is required.
The role of the Integrated Practice Leader requires specialist knowledge and skills and someone who can:
- Bring expert knowledge and experience in clinical and social services management to lead best practice in the areas of family violence, perpetrator intervention, child development, attachment and trauma theories as well as an understanding of the law and legal system in the context of responding to family violence and vulnerable children and families.
- Work collaboratively in an integrated team, drive cultural change, inspire positive practice cultures and support a large and varied integrated team of professionals
- Manage, build and maintain strong key stakeholder relationships
- Identify and manage obstacles and opportunities for development in the internal and external environment
- Effectively self manage behaviour and maintain and foster a culture of resilience
Qualifications
- Professional clinical experience and relevant qualification(s) in social work, psychology or a related discipline is essential.
What you need to know:
- A salary at SCHCADS level 8 which equates to $125,061 plus super at full time
- Fixed term covering a period of parental leave until January 2025.
- You will work at the Orange Door Hub
- Based at Dandenong but expected to work across Southern TOD network including Cranbourne and Pakenham.
