About the role:
Victoria Police is currently advertising (1) full-time ongoing Intelligence Support Officer position within North-West Metro Region, Division 5. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to members at the Criminal Investigation Unit -Darebin.

Your duties will include:
Perform a broad range of office support and computer-based tasks including preparation of reports, general correspondence, keyboard and data entry, spreadsheets, and data base activities.
Assist in collecting, collating, analysis, and basic evaluation of information in respect to intelligence data and trends.
Ensure effective delivery of administrative support activities associated within the Division.
Maintenance of computer-based systems for the recording, collation and dissemination of intelligence reports.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
Experience in working with computers and various programs with a high attention to detail.
Good conceptual and research skills with the ability to value add to information and to assist in identification of issues.
Knowledge of or experience in basic analysis.
Ability to work autonomously and prioritise work with minimal supervision.
Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Requirements and relevant information:
One (1) VPSG-2 full-time ongoing position available.
Position located at the Criminal Investigation Unit-Darebin, Preston Police Complex, 51-59 Roseberry Avenue, Preston, Vic. While this position has a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or Visa.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
