The Intelligence Support Officer role will assist Detectives with investigation into victim centric themes of crimes against persons. This will include Mitchell Family Violence Investigations Unit located at Kilmore Police Station and Seymour Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team located at Seymour Police Station.
This role is a support role primarily building up intelligence using different IT systems and creating profiles for high-risk offenders. In this role the selected applicant will report to the Tasking and Coordination Senior Sergeant but be working with the detectives.

Your duties will include:
- Managing lists and spreadsheets with high risk offenders and associated compliance
- Assist with investigations in a support role
- Research and create profiles on persons of interest
- Learn several applications where work is required to be completed
- Attend meetings as required
- Self-motivated, positive and helpful
- Comfortable and interested in learning new skills and IT programs
- Confidence to ask questions and create their own networks
- Flexibility when re tasked
- Proactive in managing own self-care – theme at times can be disturbing
- This is a 45.6 hrs a fortnight ongoing position available, 20044762.
- Position is located at the Kilmore Police Station (Powlett Street, Kilmore) but may be required to work at Seymour Police Station (58, Tallarook Street, Seymour) depending on business need.
