Learning Online is a premier short online course provider. Established in 2019, Learning Online aims to offer top of the line short online courses in a variety of subjects including Dog Grooming, Animal Care, Horticulture, Photography and Interior Design.
Through the use of industry leading technology, excellent tutor processes and courseware, Learning Online offers a student experience that is totally unique in the online course arena!
The current team has 15 tutors, all with their own experience and qualifications. This team is managed and coached by a group of experienced managers who offer excellent training and onboarding processes for new team members.
The role: Learning Online is looking for an experienced Interior Design professional. Ideally someone who has both a formal qualification in the industry and at minimum 2 years of experience. This role will be crucial to Learning Online Interior Design Tutors, who will need assistance with their studies and feedback on their assignments. We are ideally looking for a professional who is happy working under a contract arrangement whereby they invoice us fortnightly, however, we are open to seeing candidates who are looking for Part time.
Core Responsibilities: The core responsibilities for this role include;
- Marking student assignment submissions.
- Facilitating phone and video support calls.
- Answering student questions and providing instructions via email.
- Offering training and industry expertise to other departments in the company.
Your profile: Ideal candidates for this position must have;
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Interior Design.
- Recent qualifications in Interior Design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for learning and educating others.
- Approachable and friendly personalities.
- Strong customer service skills.
Nice to have: Some nice to have qualities or experiences include;
- A certificate or general qualification in teaching, tutoring or education support.
- Experience in education, teaching or tutoring.
Role Requirements: The requirements for this role include;
- A strong comprehension for basic computer literacy including gmail, word and web navigation.
- Minimum 2 days per week availability.
Salary:
$35 per hour.
