SalaryOur client is a well-established and respected boutique firm who have been in operation for over 30 years. Based in the heart of Canberra, they provide taxation and business services to a variety of clients, coming from a wide range of industries. They are a CA firm.
About the role:
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible, and the main point of contact for these clients. You will be required to complete both compliance and advisory services. There are no formal KPI's or targets in relation to productivity and write offs.
Duties:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns & BAS for clients.
- Assist with the management of the client portfolio across a variety of industries & entities.
- Ability to research & provide advice on technical matters.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
- Degree qualified with 3+ years of experience
- Completing or completed CA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to SMSF accounting is ideal, but not required
- Experience using Xero
- Support for your studies - paid study leave and CA support
- WFH flexibility can be offered - 1 day per week
- Parking on site can be negotiated as part of your salary package
