Intermediate Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Individual, Company, Trust tax returns and financial statements
• 7A experience essential
• Tax planning
• Completing BAS returns
• Answering client enquiries and meeting with clients
• Review of companies GST compliance
• Assisting in year-end accounts
• Performing accounting year end accounts and financials

Requirements:

• A Degree in Commerce or equivalent
• CA or CPA qualification or near completion
• 3-5 years of local experience in a Professional Accounting Firm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A desire for more client interaction and management of stakeholder relationships
• A Proactive attitude and great problem-solving skills
• Tech savviness and excellent computer skills
• Experience using APS XPA software, MYOB Tax and HowNow would be an advantage however full training can be provided
