Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Conduct tax planning and compliance work (tax returns and BAS etc).
- Provide support in audits and reviews.
- Collaborate with the partner on various accounting projects.
- Assisting other team members with higher level client queries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Australian public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
- Ability to manage your work tasks and jobs from start to partner review with minimal supervision.
- Bookkeeping experience highly regarded as a large majority of our clients use our services for end to end bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
