Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards.
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions with architectural and MEP systems.
- Perform site inspections and assessments to verify compliance with design specifications and resolve construction challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to continuously improve design practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Design Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations governing Structural Design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Structural Design for residential, commercial, or industrial projects is preferred.
