FD T&A is dedicated to the long-term success of its team members. We are looking for a talented Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our dynamic, professional team here in Sydney and Northern Beaches

Work alongside fellow accountants / senior accountants and answer to an experienced professional team:

You will be responsible for the processing and running jobs from start to finish and will undertake the following day-to-day duties:

• Preparation and lodgment of Tax Returns, BAS, Financial Statements and tax checklists for companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders and SMSFs. 
• Construct and maintain working papers 
• Maintain clients' asset register, adjusting journals and reconciliations
• Work on various consulting assignments and projects as required
• Opportunity for outsourced CFO and business advisory work including management accounting, board report packs, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning 
• Work on tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a
• Tax consulting and advice
• Liaise with ATO on tax matters
• Work with a diverse range of clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
• Reviewing work of outsourced providers prior to send to clients.

About you

The successful candidate will be:

• CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 to 6 years' experience in a professional services firm. 
• In addition, you will also have exceptional communication and leadership skills that will enable you to assist the team in delivering high quality client service at all times. 
• You will have come across a diverse range of clients and a variety of technical tax issues.
• You will be driven and looking to take advantage of the career opportunities that this role will provide.
