Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated person who has the passion and skills to part of the Design Engineer team. This could be a great platform to start and learn while working with experienced Design Engineers on full-time basis for a Fixed Term to early December 2024 as an Intern.
Based at our Kings Park office in Sydney, NSW, the Engineering Intern will work in the design office and be responsible for project documentation for both internal and external clients. In addition to this you will help ensure that company operating and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met.
Specific Tasks
- Assist with compilation of Manufacturers Data Report (MDR)
- General office administration – creating project files and filing completed jobs
- Produce associated project documentation utilising Microsoft Office applications
- Prepare production paper work
- Update engineering policy/procedures
- Provide additional administrative/project support on an adhoc basis
- Support with general drafting activities as required
Position Requirements
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Minimum 2-year university learning in a relevant field
- A strong team focus and personal work ethic
- Effective time management skills to ensure the work is completed within specified time frames
- Initiative to seek out and complete tasks
- Ability to problem solve
- Proficient in MS Office
