About the Job
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking to employee a Intern Mechanical / Automotive Engineer to join our team.
- Internship position for 3 months with the opportunity for a full time position
- Flexible with days to suit your studies
- Monday to Friday
- Located in Wallan
- Workshop environment
This internship has been designed to complement your university studies and to assist in the development of practical and professional skills.
You will have hands on experience both office and workshop and be guided and mentored by our leading team members and engineers.
The primary functions of this role include:
- Supporting the Workshop Supervisor and mechanics.
- Updating data in various workshop programs
- Review, assess project life cycles.
- Identify problems and provide timely feedback to Workshop Supervisor.
- Ensure best utilisation of software to improve product quality.
- Compile and review supporting workshop technical documentation.
- Assist with planning upcoming maintenance and repairs including time frames and costings.
- Ordering parts for workshop and vehicles.
- Stock management and organisation.
Training, coaching and support will be provided to ensure you develop and grow your skills.
Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Microsoft Applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motived.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Highly organised and able to priorities.
- Team player.

- Customer interfacing/management.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licenses
- Enrolled in a degree or Diploma of Mechanical / Automotive engineering or similar
- Australian driver's license.
- National Police Check.
- White card (desirable).
- First aid & CPR (desirable).
