As part of the firm’s strategy to grow and further internationalise our risk group, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
As a valued member of our international Audit team, you will report into the Internal Audit Manager based in Australia, supporting with the delivery of internal audit reviews across the international firm, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drafting audit findings in a structured and clear manner for inclusion in internal audit reports detailing agreed recommendations and tracking these
- Promoting and contributing to an audit culture, where audit findings are reported, communicated and understood
- Testing and monitoring the compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as best practice, applicable laws and regulations across the international firm
- Working collaboratively across the International Risk Group to ensure a consistent approach to risk management, internal controls and assurance is maintained
ABOUT YOU
- A part-qualified audit professional (ACA / ACCA / CIA) with direct internal or external audit experience in an accountancy firm or an Internal Audit team
- Curious and results oriented with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience of working effectively with cross-functional areas, across time zones within a matrix structure
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, demonstrating a flexible and collaborative working style
