ATLAS Recruitment are seeking an Internal Communications Advisor to join a mid-tier construction company in Melbourne. This role is more about communications internally within the business in the first instance, and then communicating externally.About the Role:
- Successfully deliver and execute the Communicatons and Media Strategy business
- Provide leadership, expert advice and guidance to all levels within the organization on a wide range of Communicaton and media issues to enhance the capabilities of all team members.
- To innovate, stretch and push the boundaries to find new and innovate ways to achieve advantageous outcomes for the business.
- Identify and provide timely and relevant business information to enable Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members to make informed decisions.
- Create and manage communication content and materials including print, photography, videography, ensuring they are in line with the strategic direction on keeping internal and external stakeholders
informed and engaged - Procure and manage a range of external providers to deliver high quality professional content, as
required
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Communications Advisor, ideally within the Construction Industry. However open to other industry spaces. This is NOT a role involving lots of marketing.
- MUST have strong writing skills, corporate affairs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment, no two days will be the same.
- Multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent collaborator and leadership skills with experience working in partnership with a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and managers of a Construction or high-risk industry business.
- Demonstrated commitment to learning, growth and building a supportive, collaborative work environment.
- Highly experienced in writing and communicating information (written, verbal, graphic) in terms that enable the audience to understand the required message, adapting tone and style for different audiences,
for distribution through the appropriate media tools and platforms.
