About the Role:
The Corporate Affairs Adviser - Internal Communications position is a member of Woodside Energy's Communications and Policy team based in Perth. You will be responsible for planning and delivery of communications to Woodside employees across the company's global operations.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Policy, this role can drive a step change in Woodside's employee communications, using a range of media platforms and leveraging key company milestones and events to generate informative and engaging content for our people.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver informative and engaging employee communications through a range of media platforms including company intranet, digital newsletter and social media.
  • Develop communications for CEO and senior executives to brief staff on key company announcements.
  • Deliver key internal company events and supporting communications such as Employee Town Halls and company celebrations.
  • Build strong relationships across the business to ensure the broader workforce is aware and supportive of Woodside's evolving business priorities and achievements.
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, establish clear priorities and deliver business outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of the external environment in which Woodside operates and key issues affecting the company, and ability to interpret them for employees in an informative and engaging manner.
  • A passion for discovering and 'bringing to life' people and stories for a broader audience.
  • Proven ability to create and implement communications and engagement plans and strategies.
  • Strong competency and knowledge of digital and on-line communication platforms.
  • Strong networking skills and demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • A team player with excellent collaboration skills, who works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to create and implement communications and engagement plans and strategies.
  • Prior experience working in corporate communications or a media organisation is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, media studies, public relations is an advantage.
