As an internal communication specialist, you will excel at delivering outstanding employee experiences. You are able to create captivating content that effectively communicates company objectives and resonates with the audience through creative storytelling.

Building connections with people is key, it will enable you to establish positive relationships swiftly and demonstrate your ability to influence and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.

This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Sydney CBD office, with flexibility to work from home 3 days per week.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help create a best-in-class Internal Communications function across the company that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting all offices.
  • Develops communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, presentation materials, Teams and other platforms, small group meetings, etc.) to articulate key messages.
  • Uses internal tools as appropriate to maximise our internal communication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging, branding, imagery and identity.
  • Support in the planning, coordination and execution of internal employee events as needed and appropriate.
  • Assists in writing and editing impactful and engaging content that effectively describes and promotes Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment, Professional Development, Human Resources and other programs and initiatives in support of firm goals and culture.
  • Works with appropriate stakeholders to create and maintain content for employee communication channels, and partners with the broader Marketing and IT teams to explore/recommend new channels or technologies where possible.
  • Manages content for the company intranet, ensuring that it is up-to-date, engaging, and informative.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree qualified in communication, journalism, public relations or relevant discipline (humanities or social sciences).
  • Exceptional writing skills, with a proven ability to create content across different mediums, including video.
  • Proven experience in an internal communication and employee engagement role, preferably in a geographically diverse business.
  • Experience in managing web content management systems and digital tools such as SharePoint.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with key internal stakeholders and experience in supporting and coaching senior leaders.
