The Company
Exhaust Control Industries, are the recognised leader in Air and Noise pollution control products in Australia and South East Asia. ECI is privately owned Australian manufacturing and installations company which provides proven products to a wide variety of industries such as mining, CBM/UCG, power generation, transport, construction equipment and marine sectors to name a few. ECI are seeking a dynamic and positive Internal Sales person based in Mordialloc, Melbourne, to extend and grow our Victorian/South Australia/Tasmania and NZ customer base.
The Role
This role specifically involves handling technical inquiries, structuring and executing call plans, tender support and quotation preparation and general administration and reporting relating to the role.
The candidate will need to demonstrate skills in the following areas:
- An ability to apply formulas and processes to size equipment and provide a total solution to the customer.
- Work in semi-autonomous fashion - seeking sales opportunities and quotation follow-up.
- Have a positive 'can-do' attitude - willing to be trained in a variety of products and services.
- Liaising with production and administration to ensure customer needs are met.
- Identification and processing of documents regarding drawings, project files, customer orders etc.
- Meet sales targets and position KPI’s
- Computer literate – Xcel, Word, Power Point, Data collection/analysis, Auto Cad or Solid works (favourable), etc…
Ideally, Engineering, Fabrication or Mechanical background will allow you to flourish in this role.
This is a highly technical full-time, multi-tasking position, and offers the successful applicant an opportunity to develop their own style, in a fast-paced specialised manufacturing environment. Full product training and support will be given to the successful applicant.
A customer call base, within the ECI target market/power generation will be viewed as highly favourable.
