My client is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of industrial Mechanical products and solutions used in the mining and manufacturing markets across Australia. They have a high reputation in the marketplace for product quality and service. They now require an experience Internal Sales Professional for their thriving Sydney team.
The Role:
- Contribute to the achievement of the company’s agreed Goals & Objectives
- Process and follow up on customer phone inquiries, sales orders, quotations, and back orders to ensure agreed delivery is met.
- Process branch stock and returns transfers for credit.
- Actively foster communications and good relationships between departments.
- Work with other employees and branches on projects that deliver cross functional benefits to the company.
- Filing of sales related items including purchase orders, GRN’s, quotes, drawings etc.
- Assist in warehouse as required
- Actively participates in seeking competitor information to accurately understand market size, share and strategies to increase market share.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Internal Sales role within the industrial sector (No qualification needed, although highly regarded)
- Canidtes with any type of mechanical trade or apprentaship, coulpled with customer service or sales experience are very suited to this role.
- You will be a get up and go type person who thrives on providing outstanding customer service
- You will have excellent communication skills with a strong business acumen.
- Be able to assist in some hands-on warehouse tasks
