Bio-Strategy (part of DKSH Group) is a dynamic, growing supplier of leading brand laboratory products, instrumentation and solutions to the scientific community in education, research, medicine and industry throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Our broad customer base includes pharmaceutical and medical research centres, biotech companies, industrial, educational and government organisations.
Due to an internal promotion, we currently have a great opportunity for an Internal Sales person to manage the customer relationships for our industrial & regional customers within Australia. You will also be responsible for maintaining, growing and developing new & existing accounts.
The Role:
- Drive sales in focus agencies / products to produce results exceeding
targets - Ensuring pricing is maintained according to company guidelines & market
- Work with the Commercial team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Analyse key customer / product markets to identify sales opportunities
- Develop and implement a sales growth plan around key customers
- Engage with Sales Specialists to identify solution focused opportunities & develop strategies to build Bio-Strategy’s profile as a key competitor
- Organise & execute territory / portfolio activities /events to promote Bio-Strategy as a solutions provider to drive incremental sales
- Identify and establish new accounts within the territory/portfolio.
- Monitor market, competitor and customer trends that may impact business plans & work with Commercial Teams to develop strategies
- Maintaining KPI’s for CRM use with objectives entered and maintained
- 80% Office based / 20% Face to Face Visits role (1 day per week in the field); infrequent regional travel
The Person:
- Tertiary degree in a Scientific discipline – essential; experience in Life Science preferred
- Previous sales experience desirable
- Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
- Highly organised with ability to mutli-task
- Highly driven individual who is sales and team focused
- Ability to build rapport with people quickly and maintain good relationships
- Resilient and competitive nature
- Be familiar and competent with using Microsoft programs, as well as having demonstrated ability (highly regarded) to use CRM platforms
