Davids Timber established in 1990, is Victoria’s leading outdoor timber supplier. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our team in Dandenong South.

Role Overview:

As a Sales & Logistics Coordinator at Davids Timber, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.  This role has the scope for the right person to progress within the business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling sales administrative tasks such as answering phones, processing orders, generating quotes and pricing products.
• Coordinating customer requirements with the production team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Collaborating with the transport team to coordinate deliveries and optimize logistics.
• Working closely with the sales team to achieve set targets and objectives.
• Providing support to other team members as needed and fostering positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Previous experience in a sales environment.
• Solid understanding of logistics and transportation processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Positive attitude and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience working with building materials is desirable but not essential.
