As a pioneer in the construction industry, our client prides itself on being family-owned and driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation. With ambitious growth initiatives underway, they are seeking an experienced 'Internal Sales' professional to join their dynamic team.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Your main goal is to foster authentic connections with our client’s customers. Serving as their trusted advisor, you'll deliver customised solutions for long-term success. Although occasional client visits may be required, this position is primarily office-based.
What you’ll be doing:
Client Relationship Management:
- Foster genuine connections with clients through proactive networking efforts.
- Apply extensive experience in the construction sector to deliver personalised solutions.
- Utilise CRM systems for efficient management of client relationships and the developing of robust sales pipelines.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive quotations.
- Diligently pursue opportunities and go the extra mile to close deals.
- Expand networking opportunities by attending industry events.
Sales Target:
- Strive to meet an annual sales goal averaging $7 million.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and expert in the field.
- Play a vital role in our client’s growth journey, actively participating in events and forging valuable connections.
ABOUT YOU
Your deep knowledge of the construction industry and strong connections within the field will set you up for success. Your determination, ambition, and dedication to doing your best make you the perfect fit for this exciting sales opportunity.
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience in long-term sales within the commercial construction sector.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business development. Occasional client visits may be necessary, but this role is primarily office based.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Networking prowess with a history of attending industry events.
- Proficiency in building quality sales pipelines.
- Previous experience using CRM systems.
- Previous experience drafting quotations.
- A hunger, drive and persistence, in following up opportunities, going the extra mile.
