Qualifications & experience
- Preferred experience in the timber/building construction industry, though not essential for the right person.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in order entry applications.
- Possess a passion for establishing enduring business relationships with customers.
- Embody a positive mindset and reliable team-centric focus.
- For the right person there could be an opportunity to develop over a period of time into a higher-level external sales role, servicing customers out in the field.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service through all levels of communication with customers, including email, phone and face to face through our trade office and showroom.
- Efficiently manages sales emails and customer inquiries with a focus on timeliness and organization.
- Process and input customer orders while continually expanding product knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members, yard staff, and external Sales Representatives to ensure smooth and prompt order processing.
- Cultivate a friendly and professional rapport with existing and new trade/retail customers, fostering repeat business and customer referrals.
