About the Role
As an Internal Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving and managing a diverse range of existing customers. You will also require the drive and tenacity to leave no stone un-turned and build new relationships. This role requires an organised self-starter that is hungry and inquisitive.
You will have a technical ability that is capable of continuous learning to understand the MRC Global product range and how it best fits with the customer needs and applications.
- Identify and act on opportunities to increase market share by growing sales and management of complete sales process including and not limited to quote follow up and database management.
- Meet the quote and order processing KPI’s including conversion rates and maintain CRM data accurately and promptly.
- Work to understand customers’ business and determine customers’ requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions and make value-added recommendations to increase sales.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Industrial Sales experience within the valve or a related industry such as pipe/fitting, pumps, irrigation or a business with a common industry customer base.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- An outgoing and friendly personality.
- A keen attitude for building customer relationships and ensuring customers' needs are met.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Competent levels of Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
