In order to excel in this position, previous sales experience and a technical background (particularly in the food and beverage industry) is preferred. Your communication skills will be vital in building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and current customers, as well as negotiating prices and finalising sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for configuring hose assemblies, pumps, and heat exchangers to meet various application needs.
As an Internal Technical Sales Specialist, you will be expected to:
- Respond to incoming sales inquiries.
- Configure and size pumps and heat exchangers.
- Configure hose assemblies and provide guidance on their applications.
- Ensure customer retention and account growth.
- Identify potential sales opportunities through research and networking.
- Attend relevant trade shows.
- Follow up on sales leads generated from various sources.
- Manage a prospective sales pipeline and move opportunities through it
- Have experience with CRM systems.
- Foster strong customer relationships
- Provide exceptional customer service, both written and verbal
- Handle telephone sales and technical inquiries
- Provide accurate and timely quotes for projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of outstanding orders and tenders.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations.
- Coordinate workshop staff tasks to ensure efficient assembly manufacture.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- 1-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals
- Strong motivation, energy, and goal orientation
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization abilities
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Current drivers’ license and own reliable transport
- Training will be provided by PharmEquip Pty Ltd
- Good computer skills
