Manhari Management company pty Ltd is in search of a Technical Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling technical products and services to customers. This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and salesmanship, requiring a deep understanding of products, their applications, and the ability to effectively communicate their value to potential customers. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to achieve sales targets and foster long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products and services, including their technical specifications, features, and applications.
1. Create and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. This involves identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and positioning products to address those needs effectively.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, demonstrating how products can meet customer requirements.
3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and develop new opportunities.
4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations that showcase the benefits and features of products. Adapt presentations to different audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements. Handle objections and concerns in a professional manner, addressing technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
6. Work closely with the technical team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation. Provide feedback from customers to inform product development and improvement efforts.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including sales calls, presentations, and closed sales. Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance and market trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in Technical Sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
3. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of the products being sold.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
5. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and resolve customer concerns.
6. Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and across departments to achieve common goals.
