About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our Victorian team.
You will be responsible for the sales development of the company’s products in the Victorian Ceramic line. You will be responsible for promoting a diverse product range and achieving market penetration.
Working under the direction of the State Sales Manager you will be given the opportunity to establish and further grow our Ceramic line products across the state.
About the Role
- Promote Mapei products and their technical advantages to all existing and new clientele
- Provide accurate project forecasting to the State Sales Manager for planning purposes
- Attend construction site meetings and offer sound technical assistance to all involved parties
- Report/document relevant information into Mapei CRM
- Increase Mapei’s footprint with new customers and increased sales within your territory
- Planning and overseeing customer product training programs
- Gain project specifications through various means
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or related Trade Certificate highly regarded
- Defined market penertration and market share
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must possess basic organisational and time management skills
- Valid and current motor vehicle driver license
Language & Other Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Ability to be “hands on” and outcomes-focused
- Have a continuous improvement mindset
