GLW is looking for a Operations Manager to join our growing company. You would be a very confident professional, with the ability to multitask across a range of tasks and ensure that the workforce stay safe and well.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and vendors. Additionally, strong leadership and problem-solving skills are needed to motivate and manage a team, as well as deal with issues and conflicts. Good organisational and time-management skills are also necessary for planning and coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines. Basic computer and math skills are required for using software applications and performing calculations. Furthermore, knowledge of the transport industry, trends, regulations, and best practices is important.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead your team and display a “Can Do” spirit.
- Hiring and training of staff
- Ensure cost efficiencies, safety and achieve the highest level of customer service
- Closely manage all costs associated with running the WA operation
- Manage staffing levels and scheduling customer work and drivers rosters
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility and all statutory and regulatory legislations
- Manage Fatigue
- Allocation of correct equipment and staff
- Weekly reporting
- Manager Fuel stocks
- Have strong negotiating skills
