This is a part time, fixed-term opportunity and is based in the tropical location of Thursday Island.
How you’ll make a difference
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Interprofessional Learning Coordinator. This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating interprofessional education initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration and teamwork among students from various healthcare disciplines. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, coordination, and evaluation of Interprofessional Learning activities, ultimately enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in coordinating interprofessional education programs or initiatives within a healthcare or academic setting.
- Knowledge of interprofessional education principles, theories, and models, as well as their application in practice.
- Demonstrated experience in remote or rural advanced practice and/or education and an understanding of remote and rural primary health care, workforce and health services in a remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander context such as outback Queensland.
- Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health issues and culturally safe practice.
- Ability to manage and work effectively in a small, dispersed team.
