The Role
Mercy Community Services has an opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team based in Nudgee. This a Permanent Full-Time position.
This role will take responsibility for co-ordinating HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including the maintenance of employee records, updating HRIS systems and responding and triaging internal and external HR queries.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus access to generous salary packaging
What you’ll be doing
As a HR Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:
- Accurately maintain all records including but not limited personnel files, databases, HRIS
- Respond to internal and external HR related enquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Ensure that documentation is completed to capture any changes at all stages of the employment lifecycle
- Escalate matters to the relevant person when required
- Proactively liaise with other departments or functions to ensure a high service level is achieved
- Manage team calendar including organising meetings and events
- Produce and submit reports as required
- Attend to reception duties as required
- Proven experience as a HR Coordinator or HR Administrator
- High level ability to use/navigate computer IT systems including data base management, HRIS systems, MS Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritise work and deliver to an exceptional standard
- Ability to develop and maintain highly effective stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
