About the roleViterra is seeking an
Inventory Administrator on a permanent part-time or full-time basis, based in our Adelaide office. In this role you will work as part of the Inventory Control Department, reporting to the Manager Systems and Inventory. The role is responsible for ensuring Viterra’s grain stock levels are accurate, providing timely inventory reports as well as supporting users of the inventory management system and ensuring that internal controls are adhered to.
Duties include but are not limited to- Communicate with necessary departments to ensure Viterra’s stock position is accurate.
- System administration and reporting of stock adjustments.
- Analyse system data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent inventory issues.
- Assist in the review and rollout of Inventory Control procedures.
- Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and administration.
- Provide guidance and support to regional offices, operational sites and Field Officers for internal inventory systems use and accuracy of transaction and stock levels.
- Investigate and action process improvement opportunities to streamline tasks/reporting.
About you- Minimum two years’ experience in the use of complex internal systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- High competency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proven experience in inventory analysis, preferably in grain supply chains
