Dal Brands is a leading wholesale supplier and manufacturer of high quality office and speciality seating, with a national customer base.
This is a new position in our rapidly expanding company, as a Marketing Graphic Designer you will be shaping our brand's digital presence and assets. Delivering high quality brochures, web and EDMs.
Our strong new product stream requires clever use of all digital mediums to deliver great assets and complimentary marketing program in a timely and strategic manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop forecasts to determine the purchasing and Production requirements of the business,
- Manage inventory levels across warehouses
- Oversee interstate stock transfers
- System maintenance - including Item Masters, BOMs, and other planning parameters to ensure system integrity
- Focus on conversion of raw materials to finished goods.
- Develop and monitor a feasible planning schedule taking into consideration production constraints such as line capacity, labour, bottlenecks, downtime, capacity, and storage restrictions.
- Issuing orders to a production planning schedule
- Assist and resolve any issues stock discrepancy from weekly cycle counts/yearly stock take and resolve the issues to ensure stock accuracy.
- Deliver monthly reports and analysis on supply chain activities
- Use inventory forecasting software (NetStock) to plan demand and order stock both locally and overseas.
- Update and maintain inventory forecasting data inside of NetStock
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand analyst or supply planning role managing products within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management practices, reporting tools, statistics, and forecasting methods.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail, effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential,
- Proven work experience in a similar role.
