About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of the Production Planner is to optimise production processes, managing materials, resources, and ensuring seamless operations.
As the successful candidate based in Lara, you will be responsible for
- Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand while optimising resources, capacity availability and managing risks
- Create and plan production schedules for the Production team
- Create reports on work progress, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, project managers, logistics and production management to ensure timely delivery of products
- Be proactive in the delivery of parts ahead of time to facilitate timely delivery
- Analyse and resolve any production problems
- Management optimal inventory levels and make data-driven decisions
- Supporting inputs for S&OP and maintain KPIs
- Propose appropriate solutions to address short-term disruptions with a long-term focus
About You
- You are experienced in Supply Chain Planning (Supply/Demand/Production)
- Proficient in using Industrial information Systems (ERP/MRP/PLM)
- Pronto experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of manufacturing
- Solution focused and improvement orientated
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills
