Jadestone Energy are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join the Supply Chain & Logistics team based in the Perth Office. The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective inventory management of materials across our operations in consultation with key stakeholders. This includes all inventory cataloguing and classifying of materials to effectively manage all inventory.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement inventory management/ control that aligns with the Jadestone business model.
- Review all material and inventory management including material entry (cataloguing), tracking, and logging all inventory storage.
- Accurately catalogue all approved materials using the Company's systems and maintain an up-to-date database of catalogued materials.
- Assist with preparing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation, procedures, or policies relating to Inventory coding and cataloguing standards.
- Review all material purchase requests to ensure compliance with internal critical spare management, industry standards, internal policies, and regulator requirements.
- Ensure and advise the correct method and location of storage of all materials.
- Maintain and communicate update inventory information with relevant stakeholders including operations and engineering focal points.
- Develop, review and document stock audit processes based on cyclic stocktaking.
To be considered for the role:
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in inventory control.
- Resources industry experience, preferable.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others.
- Planning skills to manage and prioritise work load.
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with a solutions focused attitude to working within a fast paced environment.
