Inventory Coordinator - Fmcg

We are currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated and diligent Logistics & Inventory Controller to join our Supply Chain Team in a full time permanent capacity.
Based at our head office in Banyo andreporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory and coordinating all movements of incoming and outgoing goods across our various sites, and liaising with 3PL’s.

Key responsibilities of this role:

• Liaise with Warehouse Manager for daily shuttle collections and returns between our facility and 3PL
• Liaise with operations planning to allocate and amend orders post weekly stocktakes
• Liaise with 3PL and transport providers to pick, dispatch and deliver frozen, chilled and ambient goods, including paperwork reconciliation
• Monitor on hold product at 3PL and release as required
• Liaising and communicate effectively with various departments, internal customers and stakeholders regarding inventory control and movements
• Accurate record keeping for invoice reconciliations and sign offs of transport and 3PL’s
• Develop strong relationships with 3PL and transport providers
• Contribute to a safe work environment

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience building relationships and dealing with transport providers, 3PL’s
• Have an understanding of incoming and outgoing of time sensitive goods
• Be proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook will be advantageous
• Have high attention to detail and quality of work
• Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills
• Some experience in an office / corporate environment will be highly regarded but not essential
• An ability to work within a team environment and liaise with different stakeholders
