We are seeking a Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to support our Nauru Regional Processing Centre. The position will be based in Brisbane however some national and international travel may be required.
About the Role
In your role as a Procurement and Inventory Coordinator you will be involved in purchasing a diverse range of goods to meet critical business needs in an efficient and compliant manner.
General Duties include but are not limited to:
- oversee procurement transactions daily to ensure data accuracy and relevant obligations are met
- identify and escalate procurement / supply risks
- maintain auditable documentation in alignment with Goods Procurement Plan and company policies
- perform weekly open order monitoring and reporting
- utilise cost effective procurement practices to assist with inventory and budget control
- liaise with freight forwarders, ensuring they have documents required to export purchased goods
- regularly liaise with key internal stakeholders and suppliers required
- enter purchase orders into the relevant systems and provide purchase orders to required stakeholders
- prepare weekly open order reports and maintain auditable records in NetSuite and MEX
- identify opportunities for improvement in sourcing and processes
To be successful in this role you will have:
- experience working within a procurement, inventory control or supply chain process
- knowledge of MEX and inventory systems and NetSuite – P2P and WMS (desirable)
- a strong administrative background with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Outlook and Teams
- general pro-active approach to work and the ability to work efficiently and independently
- strong analytical and communication skills, verbal and written
- ability to follow process and work autonomously
- ability to operate in accordance with the Government of Nauru laws and regulations
- ability to travel both interstate and overseas as and when required to meet the needs of the business
- proven right to work in Australia
- willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
- current Working with Children Card
- current First Aid Certificate
- evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 (double vaccinated) plus one booster with a vaccine recognised in Australia.
