About the Role 

• Key role in the Warehouse Team – managing the entire inventory portfolio.
• Ensure analysis, creation, and maintenance of ABC inventory classification & review.
• Create efficiencies and optimisations throughout the warehouse and on all stock.

Reporting into the General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for a multimillion-dollar inventory of perishable goods. Dealing with a vast range of over 6500 fridge, freezer, and pantry food items. Moco specialises in wholesale meats, manufacturing, and portioning on site in our own meat processing facility. You will be well versed in all product life cycles and capable of managing a small team.

As the Inventory Manager you'll oversee the entire inventory portfolio, proactively addressing variances and ensuring accuracy to instil customer confidence. We are looking for someone with both initiative, and leadership skills to drive performance, reduce discrepancies, and manage the relocation of our warehouse. You'll come from a structured background but be hands-on and flexible in your approach.

Skills & Experience 

• Be confident and capable of managing the entire inventory portfolio.
• Experienced in inventory accuracy, data analytics, insights, variances & team leadership.
• Deep understanding of inventory control in the food industry with a focus on perishables.
• Experience in SLOB stock, SS knowledge, Inventory Profiling & Heat Mapping.
• Space to Sales & Stock turn / Rotation Analysis.
• SOH working capital management and OOS monitoring.
• Suggest warehouse layout design to obtain maximum efficiencies.
• Skilled in data analysis and interpretation to ensure high level of productivity.
• Extensive experience in an ERP or WMS system environment.
• Great leadership and management capabilities.
