Integrity Food Co specialises in manufacturing and product development for the health food and sports supplement industry. We have created products for some of the most well-known brands around the world from global supermarkets, celebrities to market leaders in Australia. About you
To be a successful candidate in this role, you'll need to demonstrate detailed knowledge and showcase skillset relating to previous experience in a similar role. Ideally, we're looking for someone with minimum 3 years in the manufacturing industry within a similar role and market (health food, sports nutrition, nutritional supplements). You should have strong organisational skills and in-depth experience in sourcing and purchasing of ingredients, evaluating suppliers, budgets, negotiating supply contracts, data management and inventory management. Other desired qualities include strong positive communication skills.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ingredient purchasing for health food and nutritional supplement manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of the health food and supplement market, including key suppliers and market trends.
- Technical background in formulation and manufacturing processes, with hands-on experience in nutritional powder production.
- Strong negotiation skills with a keen focus on quality and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and adeptness in team management within a manufacturing environment.
- Track record of success in performance measurement and inventory control, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Reporting to the Managing Director
- Integral part of the entire process from R&D to finished product
- Responsible for overseeing internal processes and procedures within supply chain whilst liaising with internal stakeholders
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Sourcing, negotiating, procuring ingredients and packaging – blanket orders, forecasts, meeting budgets
- Managing of accurate inventory levels based on analytical data
- Working with internal and external partners to maximise profit
- Assisting in co-ordinating and planning production schedules, lead times, production shifts
- Minimising OOS and increasing DIFOT
- Managing and co-ordinating logistics
- Ensuring optimal levels of SOH
- Weekly reporting to management
