We have a great opportunity for an Inventory and Planning Manager to join our team in Supply Chain. The primary purpose of this role is to manage inventory integrity within the Richlands Distribution Centre (RDC) through planning, forecasting, monitoring, auditing and reporting for onsite activities, as well as supporting the inventory management and control systems to enhance customer service performance and drive cost savings, in line with Target's values.
Other key responsibilities also include:
- Maximising site Warehouse Management Systems to maintain a high standard of procedural accuracy and reporting
- Maintain system parameters, inventory accuracy and system performance including the identification and resolution of inventory discrepancies
- Enable better resource allocation in RDC by providing accurate inbound and outbound volume forecasts for the site, managing event and seasonal throughput and effective controls to support service KPIs and metrics
- Coaching and development of team

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies, skills and experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Supply Chain or Inventory Management role
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) accessing data and health checks
- The ability to problem solve in complex situations, to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in collaborating with others to drive high standards and deliver results
- Strong data and analytical skill, in particular, Microsoft Excel
- Experience in working with 3PL partners
- Strong commercial acumen and focus
- Experience in leading and managing a team
