This role is based onsite at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning: Establish, maintain, and improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
- Preventative Maintenance: Own and manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
- Coordination: Oversee technical service personnel and on-site contractors.
- Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure WHS & E policies and procedures are met by all stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and manage the overall maintenance planning activities.
- Establish cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work.
- Ensure availability of necessary parts, equipment, and services for maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the operations team to integrate maintenance work into the operational plan.
- Produce and present monthly reports and performance reviews to clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical Expertise: Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Education: Trade or Engineering qualification in Electrical or Mechanical fields.
- Skills: Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Expert level Excel skills and database knowledge are a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Experience Level: Mid to senior-level.
