What does the job look like?
Linfox Consumer & Healthcare Group is seeking a seasoned logistics and supply chain professional to oversee inventory management and Resource Planning at a key customer site in Chullora. The Inventory & Resource Planning Manager will ensure all measures are in place and met regarding inventory, business analysis and reporting, and Resource Planning across the operation.
Key areas:
- Management and reporting of inventory cycle counting as well as stocktakes.
- Systems understanding, including receiving, returns, putaway, replenishments, picking, dispatches, etc.
- KPI reporting, prepare detailed reports on Inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments.
- Business, people and process analysis, rostering for all shifts, systems reviews, service strategies and technologies review resulting in best practice in the inventory, reporting and planning activities.
- Development and use of reports to present data to management and customers where required, leverage of data to provide insights on business development and organisational performance, supporting decision making and improving business efficiency.
- Lead the inventory team and support the operations team, coaching and mentoring them and holding them accountable for their deliverables.
Are you the one?
We are seeking an experienced logistics and supply chain professional with several years experience in warehousing, ideally third-party logistics services.
You can demonstrate:
- Several years’ experience within supply chain, logistics and/or operations ideally in cold chain warehousing and/or 3PL
- Experience with warehouse systems and accountability for management accuracy of client’s inventory
- Experience in labour scheduling, including building rosters and Resource Planning
- Ability to code and work with large datasets across Excel and PowerBI.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Warehouse/Transport process and procedures
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (PWS and SAP preferred)
- Knowledge of Pallet Management Processes (desirable).
