Position Overview:
The role we are offering is a hands-on technical role supporting our customers both in the Repair Centre and on site within our field services team. You will be helping to stage equipment and assisting with project implementations. Understanding and deploying mobile device configurations (RF devices, industrial printers, Etc) along with wireless network designs will make up this challenging and rewarding position.

Responsibilities include:
· Support and configuring devices, networks & systems for our customers.
· On and off-site technical scoping along with WLAN design and simulations
· Provisioning and staging of mobile, and fixed industry devices
· Troubleshooting of devices, systems, solutions and WLAN related issues
· Deployment of projects and offering go-live support (software & hardware components)
· Work with internal and broader external support, R&D, project, and engineering ecosystems
· Develop & maintain knowledge base – monitor, track and complete tickets and time logging in internal systems
· Complete and maintain internal modules to ensure compliance with Best Practices, laws & regulations
· Participate in meetings in person or over internet/call conference calls
· Ability to travel interstate subject to available personal time

Role Specific Capabilities:
· Degree in Engineering (preferably majoring in Telecommunications)
· Experience building WLAN designs and surveys.
· Good working experience with Cisco, Aerohive, Aruba
· Troubleshooting LAN/WLAN, using Packet Capture tools, with excellent understanding of L2 and TCP/IP.
· Being organised, following a structured approach to tasks and ability to plan.
Preferred:
· Experience supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting Honeywell and Zebra Android mobile devices
· Working knowledge of SOTI MobiControl
· Deploying configurations and software in large scale implementations
· Experience with the use, support and configuration of mobile devices within a Retail, Transport or Distribution Centre would be a distinct advantage.
