Our SMA Administration team are on the lookout for an Investment Administration gun who will be responsible for managing the initial and ongoing administration of SMA client accounts – both super and non-super. This role involves tasks such as client onboarding, maintaining and updating accounts, processing payments, asset transfers, and liaising with various departments within the organization.
  
Main activities inlcude:
  • Coordinating transfer requests by liaising with third-party vendors, custodians, fund managers, clients, and dealer groups to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Processing various asset classes and counterparty requirements, including ASX listed securities, managed funds, international securities, and bond transfers.
  • Completing Off Market transfer forms accurately and comprehensively, handling both CBO and NCBO transfers, and updating cost base history accordingly.
  • Collaborating with other departments, third-party vendors, and dealer groups to manage the complexities of offboarding clients and ensuring timely account closure.
  • Handling asset disposals according to client requests, following the closure process meticulously, completing all relevant tasks, and finalizing the account closure.
  • Managing the opening of Investment, Super, and Pension accounts promptly while adhering to Compliance regulations, PDS, and market regulations.
  • Engaging with counterparties to ensure accurate and complete account setup.
  • Client account maintenance Administration
  • Onboarding new advisers and establishing their access to our platform
  • Conducting daily reviews of Zendesk tickets, promptly resolving issues to maintain high-quality customer service.
  
Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
  • Tertiary degree in a business-related subject or RG146 desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in funds management, platforms, or Custody environments, with an understanding of Custody and the Superannuation environment.
  • Tech-savvy with strong MS Office product skills, especially in Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with continuous improvement capability.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with effective communication skills – both verbally and written.
