ABOUT THE COMPANY AND ROLE
Our client is an ASX-listed, global biopharmaceutical company committed to developing drugs for the treatment of a range of dermatological disorders. Also specialising in the introduction of novel medicinal technology, the company’s research and development model focuses on arriving at solutions and products which can enjoy a broader user base, and so it also aims to find answers to medical problems, healthcare issues and environmental challenges.
Due to consistent growth which is expected to continue, the need has arisen to source an Investor Relations Manager to partner across the business and grow publicity of it where possible. This key role will report to the CEO, GM – Europe and CFO. developing relationships with key existing shareholders, as well as potential investors, various consultants and corporate advisors, and other service providers. You will work as part of a cross functional team in a relaxed yet focused environment in an exciting sector. This is a wonderful opportunity for a finance and/or legal professional to transition into a specialized Investor Relations position.
NOTE: This role will have opportunity to be completed as either permanent full time or permanent part time depending on the market and preference of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Investor Relations strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders.
- Coordinate and organize investor meetings & conferences.
- Prepare and distribute investor communications, including earnings releases, presentations, and other relevant materials.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights to senior management.
- Act as a liaison between the company and the investment community to address inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Proven experience in Investor Relations within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or biotech industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with analysts, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
