AddressViewpoint Consultants is a recruitment agency working with high quality companies to attract the best talent. We have been engaged by a Perth-based Fund Manager for the placement of an Investment Sales/Investor Relations role.
The Company: A property fund with a focus on domestic commercial property
This Role: Investor Relations and Distribution
Position Summary: To build and develop relationships with existing investors, incoming inquiries and your own network to lead them to become investors in the fund or to self-select that this is not the right product for them.
To build and develop relationships and pipeline with referral partners in the financial advice space, accountants and other intermediary partners to source new clients.
This role is 50% phone based and 50% in person meetings with clients who are generally professionals (advisers and accountants) or wholesale investors (HNWI and UHNWI). The goal is to raise capital for the funds by finding the right prospects and placing them into the right solutions. It's expected that you will take the time to get to know each lead and help them on their investment journey.
This is a growth role for fund manager who has grown their client base to need a new RM to come in.
The chosen candidate will need to be energetic, engaging and a team player. The primary purpose of the role is to generate new clients for the fund manager whilst also taking on some existing investors.
Qualifications:
- Degree or other professional qualification desirable
- RG146 Property
- Full Aus working rights.
Experience:
- Strong sales and account management skills
- Understanding and experience in the financial adviser market
- Financial services and funds management experience
- A proven track record managing relationships with HNWI
- Experience in handling complex requests and clients
- Team player working with other internal teams
Competencies (knowledge, skills and behaviours):
- Knowledge of the retail funds industry and process
- Passion for property investing
- Ability to understand and articulate investment processes
- Onboarding experience
- General investment market knowledge
- Adhering to internal and external regulatory and compliance obligations.
